Blue Ocean

The Album Blue Ocean is heavily influenced by the competition sail running Vendee Globe. The video transmission of the sailing event around the Globe inspired me to create this album. The loneliness of a one-handed sailor has touched Jared deeply as a former sailor himself.

Being at the mercy of the elements in the depths of the ocean allows you to quickly see how vulnerable we all are when exposed to nature. The Ocean can be a great adventure.

We should all be well aware of the fact that the ocean is the biggest capacitor for Co2. Messing with the ecosystem of the ocean will ultimately affect our own lifes. The most fascinating thing about the ocean for myself is its undeniable strength combined with its vulnerability.
